Marsha Sharp Center for Student Athletes
One of our newest facility additions, the Marsha Sharp Center for Student-Athletes, highlights the University's commitment to academic success while providing the tools, space, and technology to meet our Student-Athletes increasing educational needs.

The Marsha Sharp Center for Student-Athletes officially opened on January 22, 2004. The 15,500 square foot facility includes two classrooms, two computer labs, 26 individual tutoring rooms, a career planning and placement office, a study lounge, and administrative offices. The Wick and Janna Alexander Hall of Honor recognizes Student-Athletes who excel in the classroom. A grove of trees on the east side of the building honors Texas Tech's fallen athletes. The Marsha Sharp Center for Student-Athletes demonstrates Texas Tech's commitment to academic excellence.

"We always stress the importance of academics for our athletes. We believe that if we are going to have excellent athletic facilities, then we need excellent academic facilities as well." - Coach Marsha Sharp - former Lady Raider Basketball Head Coach
