"My scholarship has meant the world to me. Without it,
attending Texas Tech would have been out of the question for me. Instead, the financial help that I received
from school has allowed me to fulfill one of my life-long goals."

"It means I can go to graduate school and my parents don't have to worry so much about how I'm going to college."

What has receiving your scholarship meant to you?
"It's a blessing to be awarded a scholarship. The scholarship has provided me with a plan to earn my degree
and has created opportunities for me in the basketball world and the business world. To be fortunate enough
to have a scholarship also served as motivation for me because it reminded me of the responsibilities I had to stay
on track towards completing my degree."

"It meant that I didn't have to balance a full time job and a full class load with volleyball at the same
time. It has allowed me to go to college and earn a degree from a Division I school. Without my scholarship,
I would not have done as well balancing everything and would not have been able to maintain academics
as well as I did."

"I am very proud to be a graduate of Tech. I was fortunate enough to be able to learn under some of the most
noted and acknowledged professors in the HESS Department and I really appreciate all that this university
has done for me during the past four years."
