(1) Application for admission/housing is mailed to all TTU signees from the Academic Counselor of each respective sport (see sample letter and hand-out). Signee names are on the NLI list provided by Carrie Lowe. The housing office encourages students to apply on-line but a paper application will be included (this year only).

(2) Applications (admissions and housing) are returned to Academics. Academics hand-delivers admissions application to Paula Hunter Academics hand-delivers housing application to Reservations Office (a receipt is provided which will be sent to Brenda along with a copy of the application).

(3) Brenda logs data on housing spreadsheet to monitor signees that have completed application.

(4) Brenda sends letter to signee explaining how to complete the housing contract and for partial scholarship students an explanation of how to purchase the Athletic Dining Hall Meal Plan. (there will be two letters - one for full scholarship signees and one for partial scholarship signees).

(5) Housing mails contract to signee upon receipt of application and fee.

(6) Signee returns contract to housing (contract includes meal plan sign-up).

(7) Hopefully Brenda will have on-line access to housing info and can constantly monitor whether signees have returned their contracts to the Housing office.

***Brenda will submit a housing reservation list (based upon the names of the signees from the NLI list) to the housing office. This way it will be designated as to who should have reserved rooms. The reservations office will hold a single room for those student-athletes on 100% scholarship - even if their housing application is not submitted before the May 1 deadline to maintain their reservation. All other athletes must submit their application by the deadline to maintain their reservation. Room assignments are made at the beginning of June so all students can be notified prior to summer orientation sessions.
