Weekly Practice Record Process
Document week in upper right-hand corner. Weeks run Sunday through Saturday. See checklist that provides all weeks in which practice records must be submitted.
List all student-athlete's names in the column "Athlete's Name".
Document daily practice times and activities (i.e., meetings, on-court activity, conditioning, weight training, individual skill instruction, etc.) on the appropriate day and total daily hours. NOTE: You must provide one day off each week defined as Sunday through Saturday.
Out of season: A separate sheet must be attached listing the days and times each individual student-athlete is involved in individual skill instruction.
Total weekly hours.
Obtain all student-athlete signatures. Please note it is important that all student-athletes sign the practice records, yet if you are unable to obtain a couple student-athletes' signatures before the day they are due, please note the reason in the signature column. This is okay as long as it does not continue to happen every time.
Coach signs the practice record.
Submit to the compliance office by the following Wednesday.
