This page will provide Texas Tech baseball fans the most up-to-date information on the $5 million renovation to Rip Griffin Park, the home field of the Red Raiders. Texas Tech University officials officially announced its plans of the renovation to Rip Griffin Park on May 13, 2011. The groundbreaking ceremony followed on June 24 and just over five weeks later construction began at the facility on Aug. 1.
