The Texas Tech soccer program opened the John Walker Soccer Complex at the start of the 2008 season. Funded primarily off the contributions from alum John B. Walker, the complex, which seats around 2,000 people, puts fans right on top of the action as the bleachers are so steep that seats on the top row are about as far away from the field as those on the very bottom.
