Brandt Rost began working at Texas Tech University in January 2013 as the Assistant Director of Ticket Operations. He is the primary contact for women's basketball and Olympic sports within the ticket office. Prior to moving to west Texas, Rost served as the Ticket Operations Assistant at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL. While in this role, he assisted in managing all operations related to tickets and supervised the player guest entrance during home football games. Rost was the primary contact for women's volleyball and assisted operations in all other ticketed sports for the Hurricanes.
In 2011, Rost completed his graduate work under the assistant athletic director for athletic business and ticket operations at St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota. During the two-year stretch at SCSU, he managed ticket operations for all the university's ticketed sports and managed day-to-day operations in the ticket office.
Rost is a 2008 graduate of Luther College in Decorah, IA, where he earned a bachelor's degree in communication studies. A four-year letter-winner and three-year starting linebacker for the Norse football team, Rost led his team in tackles his senior year and was voted most improved defensive player in 2005 after moving from running back in the pre-season. He also played two years of collegiate baseball. Rost is a native of Manson, Iowa.
