Academic Services Building

An Academic Center will be constructed to provide educational support to the Texas Tech University student-athletes. The facility will be the center of the education support for the students trying to balance athletics with their studies. The new facility will provide sufficient space for private study, a library, computer labs, classrooms, conference rooms, and tutoring rooms. The offices, conference rooms, and tutoring areas will provide the support staff with the space they need to provide mentoring and advice. The Texas Tech Academic Hall of Fame, located between the front lobby and the lounge, will recognize those student-athletes who excelled both in the classroom and on the field.

The construction of the Texas Tech Academic Center will provide the student athlete with the support he or she needs to balance the needs of the classroom and the team. The center will distinguish Texas Tech University as an institution committed to providing the best educational support possible to today's student-athletes.
