Tennis Complex

A new tennis complex will be built to provide a home to the Texas Tech men's and women's tennis teams. The complex will provide a prime venue for high school and NCAA regional tournaments. This new complex will be oriented north-south and contain a variety of different playing courts, locker facilities, and spectator amenities.

There will be a center court, located partially below grade to protect against the wind, and 12 tournament / practice courts. The locker facilities will provide team locker rooms, equipment storage, and meeting space. Concession stands and toilets will be provided for the spectators.

Temporary seats will allow a Center Court seating capacity between 1,800 to 2,400. The west side of the center court will have a roof enclosure and facade for wind protection. The space under the west seats will support spectator amenities and locker facilities.

The triumphal arch will serve as a focal point for the complex, tying the facility back to the campus. Once complete, this complex will rank among the top collegiate tennis venues in the Big 12 Conference and the country.
