Tech Soccer To Be Televised Twice During 2017

Two of the league’s four televised matches in 2017 will feature the Red Raiders.
LUBBOCK, Texas – The Big 12 Conference, ESPN and FOX Sports have announced that two Texas Tech soccer matches will be telecast on FOX Sports Regional Networks (FSN) and ESPNU during the 2017 season.

Two of the league's four televised matches in 2017 will feature the Red Raiders. Tech will host Oklahoma State on Friday, Oct. 13, at 6 p.m. CDT on FSN, followed by a 4 p.m. CDT start at West Virginia on Thursday, Oct. 19, on ESPNU.

Both matches were featured on the same stations during the 2016 campaign, as the Red Raiders will once again face the Cowgirls in Lubbock and the Mountaineers in Morgantown.

Tech's other seven home matches can be streamed online on TexasTech.TV this season. The Red Raiders also host Appalachian State (Sept. 3), San Diego State (Sept. 15), Cal-State Northridge (Sept. 17), Kansas State (Sept. 22), Kansas (Sept. 24), TCU (Oct. 1) and Oklahoma (Oct. 27) at the John Walker Soccer Complex.

Before the home opener, Tech will spend the last two weekends of August on the road, as the Red Raiders head to Albuquerque this weekend for the Lobo Invitational to kick off the 2017 campaign. Tech takes on Grand Canyon on Friday, Aug. 18, at 5 p.m. CDT, followed by San Francisco on Sunday, Aug. 20, at 2 p.m. CDT, at UNM Soccer Complex.
