Texas Tech Tracksters Prepare For Last Indoor Home Meet

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech men's and women's track teams will host their final indoor meet of the season beginning Friday at 7 p.m. The meet will continue on Saturday in the Athletic Training Center on the Texas Tech campus.

The meet will begin on Friday with the men's pole vault set to kick off at 7 p.m. On Saturday, field events will start at 9 a.m. with the men's wieght throw. The preliminaries in the 55 meter high hurdles will begin at noon, followed by the rest of the day's running events.

Teams competing in the meet include complete squads from the University of New Mexcio, Abilene Christian and Wayland Baptist University. Also competing are the women's squad from Odessa and the men's squad from the University of Juarez.

A split squad from the Texas Tech men's track team will compete in the Reno Bill Cosby Invitational in Reno, Nev.
