2007 OUTDOOR: Competed in three events ... set personal bests in both the 100M, 12.32 at the Texas Tech Open, and in the long jumped, 17'-8.75" at the Texas Tech Open ... member of the 4x100M relay team that ran a 45.77 at the UTEP Invite.

2007 INDOOR: Set three personal bests in the 55m, 60m and the long jump in her first season of competition ... placed third at the Texas Tech Open in the long jump with a jump of 18'-6" jumped a 18'-7" at the Dan DeHart Invitational ... ran the 55M with a 7.32 at the Tech Open ... clocked a 7.83 in the 60M at the Dan DeHart Invitational.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Perryton High in Perryton, Texas... Played volleyball, softball and track during four years... Broke numerous school records: 100M, 200M, 400M, 4x100M relay and long jump... Personal bests include: 11.41 in the 100M; 24.1 in the 200M; and 20'-3" in the long jump.

PERSONAL: Born on July 15, 1987, in Hill City, Kan., to Gil and Rhonda Appelhans... Family now resides in Perryton, Texas... Father Gil works at Harbison-Fischer as a district manager... Mother Rhonda is an office manager at Renco Tool Co. Inc... Has two brothers, Brent and Matt... Aunt Lori Denney played basketball at Colby Community College (Kan.)... Cousin Mike Appelhans ran track for Fort Hays State (Kan.)... Hobbies include fishing, hunting, camping and watching movies... Majoring in chemical engineering.
