2010 OUTDOOR: All-American in the 100M, 200M and 4x100M relay ... set the school record in the 100M at 11.28 ... All-Big 12 in three events (100M, 200M, 4x100M) ... season-best time of 11.19 ran at altitude ... won the Sooner Invitational 200M with a time of 23.18, a season best ... won six individual races and five relay titles ... member of first All-American 4x100M in program history ... first All-American in the 100M and 200M in program history.
2010 INDOOR: All-Big 12 in both the 60M and 200M ... tied the school record in the 60M at 7.39 ... won the Texas Tech Open in the 200M with a season best of 23.89 ... ran a season best 6.93 in the 55M at the Texas Tech Open.
2009 OUTDOOR: Only female freshman to qualify for the 100M at the NCAA Championships ... All-Big 12 in the 100M, 4x100M and 4x400M ... season best time of 11.30 in the 100M ... placed fourth in the prelims of the 100M at the NCAA Championships.
2009 INDOOR: Ran a season best of 7.39 in the 60M and 23.87 in the 200M ... member of the 4x400M relay that ran a season best of 3:41.74.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from South Mountain High School in Phoenix, Arizona ... ran track and field and was a member of the National Honor Society and was the salutatorian of her class ... won regional and state championships as a team four times ... best times include a wind-aided 11.39 in the 100M and a 23.72 in the 200M.
PERSONAL: Born on October 7th to Dwayne and Lori Evans ... has two siblings Turquoise and Taylor ... father was a bronze medalist in the 200M at the 1976 Olympics and the 1981 NCAA Champion in the 200M and sister Taylor is running track at Texas Tech as well... enjoys reading and hanging out with friends and family ... majoring in exercise sport and science with a minor in math.
