2005 INDOOR: ... All-American and two-time all-conference ... 600Y ... set a new ATC record with a time of 1:09.62, the third-best time in school history, at the Wes Kittley Invite ... clocked a 1:10.15, the fifth-best time in school history, at the Wes Kittley Classic ... 800M ... ran a 1:47.22, a new school record and automatic qualifying time, at the ISU Last Chance meet ... earned all-conference honors with a fifth-place finish and a time of 1:50.35 ... All-American honoree with a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Championships with a time of 1:47.92, the second-best time in school history ... 4x400M ... clocked four provisional qualifying times with teams ... registered a time of 3:07.42, running the third leg, at the Big 12 Championships, good for a silver finish and all-conference honors.

2004 OLYMPICS: Competed in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece ... won the U.S. Olympic trials in Sacramento with a personal-best time of 1:44.77 ... finished second in the preliminary round of the Olympic Games with a time of 1:45.32 ... was the only American athlete to compete in the semifinal round of the 800M.

2004 OUTDOOR: Competed in the 400M, 800M and as a member of the 4x400M and sprint medley relay teams ... National Champion in the 800M ...Tech's first ever male National Champion ... Regional Champion in the 800M dash ... all-region in the 800M and 4x400M ... 2004 INDOOR: Competed in the 600Y, 800M and as a member of the 4x400M relay team ... all-conference in the 600Y and the 4x400M ... 600Y ... set three top-five marks in school history ... conference runner-up in the 600Y with a time of 1:09.58 after a prelim time of 1:10.13 ... won first at both the Texas Tech Quad and the Red Raider Invitational with times of 1:09.81 and 1:11.14, respectively ... 800M ... made one appearance on the season in the 800 at the Golden Spikes Tour, a USA Track & Field Event ... finished seventh, first among collegiate athletes, with a time of 1:49.56 ... time was his second-best career time ... 4x400M ... ran anchor leg on both provisional qualifying teams ... team finished in second, first among collegiate teams, at the Tyson Invitational with a time of 3:09.41 and first at the Red Raider Classic with a time of 3:09.89 ... earned all-conference honors with a time of 3:10.88. a fifth-place finish at the Big 12 Championships ... team finished second at the Texas Tech Quad with a time of 3:11.15.

2003 OUTDOOR: Two-time All-American with a second-place in the 800 with a time of 1:46.51 and a sixth-place finish in the 4x400M with a time of 3:04.76 ... his second-place finish was the best finish in school history and time is the third best in school history ... in the 4x400M, as the third leg, set the No. 1 time in school history in the prelims with a time of 3:03.26 ... earned two automatic bids for the NCAA Championships ... entered the championships with the No. 6 ranking in Trackwire's Dandy Dozen ... set the Mid-West regional record in the 800M with a 1:47.64 clocking in Lincoln, Neb. ... ran the third leg of the all-region 1,600-meter relay team to a second place finish in a school record time of 3:03.41 ... repeated as Big 12 champion in the 800 becoming just the second male to repeat as a conference champion in school history ... was fourth at Mt. SAC relays after recovering from plantar fasciitis ... qualified for the regional meet in the 400 with a time of 46.20 at the ACU Open ... ran the 800 leg of the 4x400M relay that placed first and set school records at both the Texas (3:14.09) and Drake Relays (3:14.08) ... the SMR's times were the top two collegiate times run this year ... the SMR was ranked No.1 in the world through out the whole season ... competed at the USATF Championship with a third- place finish in a time of 1:46.76, making the World Championship team ... ranked third in the U.S. by Track and Field News among all 800m runners, both college and elite.

2003 INDOOR: Sat out a significant amount of the indoor season due to plantar fasciitis ... competed in the 800 as Tech's competitor with all first-place finishes ... ran a 1:50.24 at the Red Raider Open and had a season best time of 1:49.94 at the Red Raider Classic ... finished season with a 1:50.84 at the Husker Invitational ... as member of 4x400M team, turned in three gold finishes at the Red Raider Classic, Red Raider Invitational and the Husker Invitational ... best time was 3:09.85 at the Red Raider Invitational.

2002 OUTDOOR: Two-time All-American placing fourth in the 800 and running the anchor leg of the 1,600-meter relay that ran the second fastest time in school history (3:04.40) to place seventh at Nationals ... first Texas Tech male to earn four All-American honors as a freshman ... was ranked as a "Dandy Dozen" by Trackwire all season, ranked seventh in the final rankings in the 800M ... ranked fourth in the Team Power Ratings ... his time of 1:45.81 in the finals of the 800M was the fastest time ever at Nationals for an American freshman, and the second fastest time by an American freshman, ever ... his time also set the school record that stood since 1981 ... earned all-conference honors as he cruised to the conference title in the 800M with a time of 1:50.19, anchored the 4x400M relay to a second-place finish with a split time of 46.15 at Big 12 Championships ... outpaced the competition, including several non-collegiate athletes, for a second-place finish at the Stanford Invitational; his time of 1:47.88 was the top collegiate time and an NCAA provisional time in the 800M ... cruised past the competition for a first-place finish in the 800M with a NCAA provisional time of 1:47.99 at the Michael Johnson/SW Bell Classic ... placed third in the 400M with a time of 46.44 at the UTEP Invitational ...he anchored in the spectacular first-place finish in the SMR with a time of 3:17.25, a good 2-seconds better than the next competitor in the 14-team field at the 75th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays ... outlasted the competition in the 800 earning first-place (1:53.92) at the Longhorn Invitational.

2002 INDOOR: Two-time 2002 Indoor All-American ... finished first indoor season with the top 800M and second best 600Y time in the Big 12 Conference ... placed sixth at Nationals in the 800M posting a time of 1:50.40 ... also ran anchor leg of the 4x400M relay at Nationals, team placed eighth with a time of 3:09.70 ... posted a season-best time of 1:48.00 at ISU Last Chance and anchored the 4x400M relay team that placed sixth ... finished a pair of second-place finishes at the Big 12 Indoor in the 600Y run (1:08.81) and in the 800M (1:52.83) ... placed fourth in the 800M at the ISU Classic with a time of 1:50.11 ... placed second in the 800M at the Texas Tech Classic with a time of 1:50.09 ... won the 600Y run posting a time of 1:10.07 in his first indoor meet as a Red Raider at the Texas Tech Open.
