2009 OUTDOOR: Cleared a season best of 6'-10.75" at the Michael Johnson Classic ... won the ACU Invite and finished in the top five in five other meets.

2009 INDOOR: Cleared a season best of 6'-11" at the Texas Tech Open.

2008 OUTDOOR: Competed at the Big 12 Championships in the high jump event ... placed second at the Red Raider Open with a mark of 6'-8.75 ... placed second with a mark of 6'-7.50" at the ACU Invitational ... finished third at the UTEP Invite with a mark of 6'10.75".

2008 INDOOR: Competed at the Big 12 Championships in the high jump event ... placed second at the Texas Tech Invitational with a mark o 6'08.25" ... placed fourth with a mark of 6'-06.25" at the United Heritage Invitational.

2007 INDOOR: All-Big 12 in the high jump ... cleared a personal best height of 6'-9.75" at the Texas Tech Open ... finished seventh at the Big 12 Championships by matching his personal best height of 6'-9.75".

OUTDOOR 2007: Competed in High Jump in seven meets in the 2007 season... Cleared a personal best of 6'-11" at the Midwest Regional meet where he placed ninth...Turner had his highest ranking at the Texas Tech open where he received earned second place with a height of 6'-6".

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Levelland High in Levelland, Texas... Participated in football, basketball and track... Was member of basketball team that became regional qualifiers in 2005... Named first team all-region in basketball and football... Also was first team all-district in basketball and football... Honored as the distict 2-3A most valuable player in basketball...
