Joe Walker
	Position: Director of Track and Field Operations Experience: Third Season

Joe Walker is entering his fourth year as the director of operations for Texas Tech men's and women's cross country and track and field.

Walker came to Tech in November of 2004 from the University of Arkansas, where he earned a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology in May 2003.

While in Fayetteville, AR, Walker gained valuable experience working under legendary NCAA track and field coach, John McDonnell, serving as a student manager from April 2000 until his graduation in May of 2003. He then served as a volunteer assistant coach the following year.

As the director of operations, Walker is responsible for many duties including, but not limited to: Organizing and directing indoor and outdoor track and field meets held on the Texas Tech campus; organizing team travel and coaches recruiting travel; and managing the equipment needs for the Red Raider track and field athletes.
