Qualified for the NCAA Championships in the discus throw as a freshman with a mark of 58.50-meters (191'-11") and fifth place finish at the NCAA West Preliminaries in Austin, Texas...recorded the fourth-best shot put throw in school history to finish first at the Texas Tech Red Raider Open (5/5) with a mark of 18.10 (59'-4.75")...collected a total of seven top-five finishes in the shot put...recorded a season-best mark of 59.92 (196'-7.00") in the discus to finish second at the Texas Tech Open (4/14).

Competed in the shot put and the weight throw...finished sixth in the shot put at the Big 12 Championships with a season-best mark of 17.79 meters (57'-8.50")...finished first overall at the Red Raider Open in the weight throw with a season-best mark of 17.20 meters (56'-5.25")...collected four top-five finishes in the shot put...collected three top-five finishes in the shot put.
