Tech Improves on Three Marks at Last Chance Meets|

LUBBOCK, Texas - The No. 7 Red Raiders and No. 23 Lady Raiders had four NCAA provisional marks at the Iowa State and Washington Last Chance meets with three of the marks improving on season bests.
The women's 4x400M relay at Iowa State made the most of its last chance as it ran a season-best and the third fastest time in school history. The relay of Candace Jackson, Trudeann Clarke, Erica Alexander and Taylor Evans ran a NCAA provisional 3:35.22. The mark is currently sixth on the NCAA descending order list.
The men's 4x400M of Bryce Brown, Zach Plinario, Jamaal Butler and Latoy Williams ran a NCAA provisional of 3:07.27. The time is a seasonal best for the team and currently sits seventh on the NCAA list.
Senior Brian Porter cleared an indoor personal best of 5.38M (17'-7.75) at the Washington Last Chance meet. The height is a NCAA provisional mark and moves him into a tie for ninth on the NCAA descending order list.
Sophomore Terra Evans ran a NCAA provisional 7.41 in the 60M but has a season best of 7.39 ran last week.
Sophomore Markus Henderson ran in both the 60M and 200M at Iowa State. He ran a season best of 6.80 in the 60M and a season best of 21.25 in the 200M neither times were a NCAA provisional mark.
Bryce Brown ran a time of 8.00 in the 60M hurdles prelims and 8.02 in the finals but neither time are NCAA provisional marks.
Tech will head to Fayetteville, Ark., for the NCAA Indoor Championships next weekend.
