LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech's track program earned four NCAA provisional marks at The University of Washington and Iowa State University. This weekend was the last chance for athletes to qualify for the NCAA Championships.

The men's 4x400M relay team of Bill Lawhorn, Gil Roberts, Shawon Harris and Lamont Adams ran a season best time of 3:06.93. They finished second to Texas A&M's time of 3:06.68. Tech's time is one of the ten fastest in the nation.

At the University of Washington all three Tech competitors earned NCAA provisional marks. Kelley Schulz cleared a season best in the pole vault with a height of 13'-1". A height of 17'00" was cleared by Brain Porter. Anthony Flemons was the last provisional mark earned as he had a mark of 24'-9.75" in the long jump.

Tech will travel to Fayetteville, Ark. for the NCAA Indoor Championships that will start on March 14th. For final results, please log onto www.texastech.com.
