LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech track squad had nine student-athletes run at the Victor Lopez Bayou Classic held in Houston, Texas, and collected six top five finishes and one NCAA Regional mark.

Gilbert Limo won the 3000M steeplechase in a NCAA Regional time of 9:00.64. Nathan Milles places sixth running a 9:39.78. Kaci Westervelt was eighth on the women's side running a 11:45.02.

Asia Diaz placed second in the women's 1500M with a time of 4:32.09. Gladys Kipsang ran a 4:37.42 to finish in fifth. Zach Dawson ran a personal-best in the men's 1500M with a 3:56.80 to finish fourth. Silas Kemboi crossed the line in 4:02.29 for ninth.

Michelle Guzman ran a 17:00.20 to place fifth in the women's 5000M. The Red Raiders had Cory Higgins finished second in a time of 14:58.61.
