LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech opened competition at the historic Mt. SAC Relays on Thursday afternoon and sophomore Rachel Folan ensured it was a memorable start.
In the opening event of the day, Folan ran a personal-best time of 4:33.14 in the 1,500 meter run. The time bested her previous personal best mark of 4:38.50 which she ran at the LSU Invitational `Battle on the Bayou' on April 7.

Folan finished 78th overall.
