Tech Collects Five NCAA Regional Marks at Penn Relays

LUBBOCK, Texas - The No. 17 Lady Raiders and No. 19 Red Raiders had a better showing on the second day of the Penn Relays as five NCAA Regional marks were ran by the squads.
Omo Osaghae ran the fourth-fastest qualifying time in the 110M hurdles. He ran a NCAA Regional time of 13.65. Jamele Mason ran a 14.49 in the prelims but failed to qualify
Terra Evans ran the seventh-fastest time in the preliminaries with a NCAA Regional time of 11.68.
Mason ran his third NCAA Regional time in the 400M hurdles this morning. He ran a time of 51.88 to win his heat and finish fifth overall.
The men's 4x100M relay of Osaghae, Julius Walker, Brandon Tucker and Bill Lawhorn ran a time of 41.31. The women's 4x100M relay of Jonisha Boleware, Terra Evans, Tori Smith, Trudeann Clarke improved on its time from the day before finishing second with a NCAA Regional time of 45.22.
The men's 4x400M relay ran a NCAA Regional time of 3:07.26 placing fifth overall. The stick started with Rodney Mims than it went to Gil Roberts who passed it to Brandon Washington and running anchor was Tim Foster.
