Carson, Calif. - Day two of competition has completed at the USA Championships at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. Bryan Scott qualified for the semifinal round of the 400M hurdles.

Lubbock native Scott ran a 50.32 in the prelims of the 400M hurdles and finished third in his heat, 15th overall. The 2005 Big 12 Champion qualified on time and will compete in the semifinals of the event on Saturday.

Jonathan Johnson finished fifth in his heat and 11th overall in the semifinals of the 800M with his clocking of 1:49.34. The Abilene native fell short of qualifying for the finals of the event on Sunday.
