Lubbock, Texas- Texas Tech senior sprinter Andrae Williams ran the third leg of the Bahamas 4x400M relay that finished in second place at the World Championships in Helsinki, Finland, this weekend.

Williams, a 2005 Indoor Big 12 Champion and three-time All-American, Nathaniel McKinney, Avard Moncur and Christopher Brown clocked a time of 2:57.32 en route to their silver finish. The team finished in second place behind the American squad that clocked a time of 2:56.91 and included former Big 12 and Baylor foes Jeremy Wariner and Darold Williamson.

Also running in the same event was former Tech sprinter Julieon Raeburn, of Trinidad and Tobago. Raeburn, a three-time All-American, ran the second leg of their relay.
