LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech men's track team fell one place to No. 13 in the Trackwire 25 ranking after not competing this past weekend. Trackwire also released its first Dandy Dozen ranking, with Tech earning honors in four events.

Junior Jonathan Johnson headlines the rankings with a No. 2 spot in the 800m followed by transfer Tyree Gailes who is in fifth in the 60m. The men's 1,600m relay team is ranked eighth while the women's team is ranked 11th.

Tech will look to move up in the rankings as it opens season at the Red Raider All-Comers this Friday in Lubbock, Texas.
