The Texas Tech men's track and field team enters the NCAA Indoor Championships No. 11 in the USTFCCCA rankings.

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech men's track and field team will enter the 2013 NCAA Indoor Championships this weekend ranked No. 11 in the latest United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association computer rankings released today.
The NCAA Indoor Championships are scheduled for March 8-9 inside the Randal-Tyson Track Center on the University of Arkansas campus.
The No. 11 Red Raiders have now been ranked in the top-15 of the official computer rankings for four consecutive weeks since the current season marks and times have been implemented into the rankings.
The Red Raiders enter the national meet with a contingent of three student-athletes led by 2013 Mountain Region Male Track Athlete of the Year Kennedy Kithuka who holds the nation's No. 1 time in the 5,000-meter run and No. 4 time in the 3,000-meter run.
Meanwhile, senior Bryce Lamb will look to cap his senior indoor season off with All-America honors as he holds the No. 3 mark in the men's triple jump. Sophomore Kole Weldon will also look to score points for the Red Raiders as he qualified for his first career indoor championships in the shot put.
The Lady Raiders qualified senior Katie Grimes in the 60-meter hurdles along with the 4x400 relay team. Grimes holds the No. 6 time nationally while the Lady Raider 4x400 team ranks No. 10 entering the meet and will look to earn All-America First Team honors for the second consecutive season.
