Red Raiders, Lady Raiders Remain in Top 20|
Both Texas Tech men's and women's track and field teams remained in the top 20 this week.

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech track and field program enters a full weekend of competition with both teams remaining in the top 20 of the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Week 3 computer rankings.
The Red Raiders appeared at No. 16 and the Lady Raiders at No. 15 marking the fourth consecutive week this season both squads have been ranked in the top 20.
"It's great to see both the men's and women's teams earn recognition," head coach Wes Kittley said. "More than anything it just helps us build momentum as we progress further into the season. I've been proud of both teams this year, and we are looking forward to a full weekend of competition."
The Red Raiders have now been ranked in the top 20 of each regular season poll for 35 consecutive weeks and the top 25 for 49 consecutive weeks dating back to 2008. Meanwhile, the Lady Raiders have appeared in the top 25 of every regular season poll dating back to the start of the 2012 season.
Texas Tech will send athletes to four separate meets this weekend including the prestigious Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut, Calif., April 18-19. A contingent of Red Raiders and Lady Raiders will also compete at the Azusa Pacific Bryan Clay Invitational (April 19), the Long Beach State Invitational (April 19-20) and the Baylor Michael Johnson Classic (April 20).
