LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech's track teams will be split for the second week in a row as they head to the Drake Relays in Des. Moines, Iowa and the Oklahoma Invitational in Norman, Okla.

The group headed to 99th Drake Relays will be a mixed group of student-athletes. The hurdlers will be getting the most work as Sandra Iwunze, Shawon Harris, Jansen Hyde, Wouter Le Roux and Jansen Hyde will all run in the hurdle events. The Red Raiders will have Lyle Leong back after going through spring football practice. He will be competing in the long jump and high jump. Tech also will be running men's and women's 4x1600M relay for the first time this season.

The Oklahoma group is taking 35 student-athletes to compete. A mixture of sprinter, distance, throwers and jumpers will be competing at Norman, Okla. The trio of D'Andra Carter, Patience Knight and Ozie Okolie will highlight the throws events for the women and Paden Behrens, Brett McDaniel, Harrison Benjamin and Tyler Menges will highlight the men's throws.
