LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech will be represented by some of the school's top current and former student-athletes at the 2007 AT&T USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships and Finish Line USA Junior Track and Field Championships this week. Five competitors associated with the Red Raider program will take part in the five-day event being held at the IU Michael A. Carroll Track and Soccer Stadium at IUPUI in Indianapolis, Ind., starting Wed., June 20th.

Three 2007 Texas Tech seniors are declared for the event with the trio coming off of All-America performances at this year's NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Four-time All-American Marlon Odom will be competing in the 110M hurdles after running a qualifying mark of 13.52. Former Tech hurdler and Lubbock native Bryan Scott will be running in the 400M hurdles with a top run this season of 49.78.

The lone female competing from Tech will be former high jumper Lacy Wilson. The indoor and outdoor school record holder in the event will compete for a place on Team USA after having a top clearance of 6'-0.5".

One current Red Raider will be running at the USA Junior Championships, as sophomore-to-be Omo Osaghae will run in the 110M hurdles. As a freshman, Osaghae had a top time of 13.99, which sat as the sixth-best freshman mark in the country and second in the conference among underclassmen.

Also declared to run is former national champion and 2005 Tech graduate Jonathan Johnson. The four-time Big 12 800M gold medalist and 2004 national titlist sits with the ninth-fastest qualifying mark with a time of 1:46.79 in the event.

The two events will run concurrently June 20-24th and will determine the U.S. squads for the IAAF World Outdoor Championships and the Pan American Junior Games.
