Track and Field Finalizes Signing Class|

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Wes Kittley announced today the finalization of the program's 2013 signing class.
The Red Raiders and Lady Raiders officially inked 29 athletes to national letters of intent on the heels of one of the most successful seasons in school history.
"I am thrilled with the level of talent our 2013 signing class brings to Texas Tech," Kittley said. "We couldn't be more excited about the additions we made. These student-athletes will only increase our depth in needed areas, and help continue the championship tradition of Texas Tech track and field and cross country."
The class includes two multi-sport athletes in Dee Paul and Cory Scott. Paul signed a national letter of intent with the Texas Tech football team and will compete in the sprints, hurdles and relays for the track and field team in the spring. Meanwhile, Scott signed with the Texas Tech basketball team and will compete as a high jumper for Kittley's squad.
The Red Raiders add 15 student-athletes to a squad that finished fifth at the NCAA Indoor Championships and secured its fourth-straight top-25 finish at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in June.The Lady Raiders, meanwhile, add 14 athletes to a squad that produced six first team All-Americans in 2013.
