Texas Tech track and field coach Wes Kittley has finalized a 27-member 2012 signing class.

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech head coach Wes Kittley finalized the 2012 track and field signing class Monday. The class adds 28 members to the program that produced 22 All-Americans and seven All-Academic members during the 2012 season.

"This class gives us some needed depth and some quality numbers to keep moving our program upwards," Kittley said. "We have added some tremendous talent, and I can't wait to get them here and begin to develop them."

The class features 13 signees to the men's team along with 15 signees to the women's team.

This spring, the Red Raiders secured their third-straight top-20 performance at the NCAA Championships with an 18th-place finish. Meanwhile, seven Lady Raiders earned All-American honors at the outdoor championships.
