KAMLOOPS, B.C. -- Texas Tech's Cierra White won the women's 200 meter dash to claim her third gold medal of the NACAC U-23 Championship, in Kamloops, B.C, on Sunday.

White ran a blistering 23.05, winning by nearly half a second. She won gold in all three events in which she competed at the championship--the others being the 100 meter dash and 4 x 100 meter relay.

"Wow," Texas Tech head coach Wes Kittley said. "Three golds at one championship for Cici [White]. What a fabulous week for her. She made Texas Tech and the U.S. very proud."

In the men's 200 meters, Red Raider Trevor Mackey (20.46) represented The Bahamas with a silver medal finish. Mackey adds that silver to the bronze he collected in Friday's 100 meter dash.

Texas Tech's JaCorian Duffield represented Team USA in the men's high jump, where he took sixth.

In total, Texas Tech athletes combined to win seven medals at the championship.
