2009 CROSS COUNTRY: Named All-Mountain Region for placing 21st in a time of 21:43.1 and helping the Lady Raiders qualify for the national meet ... All-Big 12 runner after placing seventh and helping the team to its second-straight Big 12 title ... finished in the top 10 for the third time this season with her 8th/6th place finish running a time of 21:12.32 at the Chile Pepper Festival ... recorded he second-straight top five finish with a fourth place finish at the Texas Tech Open running a 18:15.96 ... won her first meet of the year with a time of 16:42.40 at the Texas Tech Ruidoso Open.

2008 CROSS COUNTRY: Competed at the NCAA Championships with a time of 21:16 ... earned All-Conference honors at the NCAA Regionals finishing eighth with a time of 20:50.7 ... competed at the Big 12 Championships with a time of 21:50.25 for a 19th place finish ... won the Cloudcroft Tri Meet with a time of 19:17 ... placed third at the Red Raider Invitational running a time of 18:25.17.

2007 CROSS COUNTRY:Started the season at the Paul Short Invite, where she placed 23rd overall and third on the team with a time of 21:19 ... improved last year's Chile Pepper Festival time by clocking a time of 21:29.6 ... earned a 16th-place finish at the Big 12 Championships with a time of 21:29.6 ... ran a time of 21:10.7 at Regionals with an eighth place finish ... and clocked a 21:24.3 at Nationals.

2006 CROSS COUNTRY: Ran in all seven Tech events ... top finish came in first race as a Red Raider at the Mike Boit Invitational with a second-place finish in a time of 18:05 ... earned Big 12 Runner of the Week for collegiate debut ... took seventh in the Red Raider Jackrabbit Open and Murray Keatings in times of 17:52.75 (3Mile) and 17:37.57 (5k), respectively ... finished 20th at the conference championships in a time of 22:02.47 ... ran a time of 21:26.0 at the Mountain Regional to place 17th, earning all-region honors ... completed season with trip to nationals, finishing 144th.

HIGH SCHOOL: Participated in track, hockey and soccer... made it to the Nationals for the 2004 Olympics... received honors in high school for track competitions... finished second in provincial hockey competition.

PERSONAL: Born Sept. 30, 1986, to Richard and Ednah Kipsang... has four siblings, Ben, 27; Francisca, 24; Laban, 22; and Nickson, 16... hobbies include traveling, playing soccer and hockey, and meeting new friends... majoring in pre-nursing... goals include saving lives.
