2010: All-American at the NCAA Championships placing fifth in a time of 20:18.6 ... highest finish by a Lady Raider since 2008 ... finished in the top five in every race of the season ... won four races during the season including the Big 12 Championship ... help lead the Lady Raiders to its third-straight Big 12 Championship ... won the Ruidoso Open, Texas Tech Open, Virginia Invitational as well.

CENTRAL ARIZONA COLLEGE
Tanui comes to TCU from Central Arizona College where she claimed the Junior College National Championship in cross country in 2008 before earning runner-up honors this past fall to lead the Vaqueras to the NJCAA Cross Country National Championship ... Tanui, who hails from Burt Forest, Kenya, also claimed national championship accolades in the 5,000 and 10,000 meters at Central Arizona in 2009 ... She has posted personal-best times of 16:54.04 in the 5,000 and 34:34.61 in the 10,000.
