LUBBOCK, Texas - The men's squad finished 10th in its 2006 conference campaign, while the women took second for the conference and sixth overall. The Red Raiders' men and women team have a total of 21 newcomers on the season. Sophomore Silas Kemboi and senior Edwin Sang return as the leaders for this year's competition.

Tech women finished strong in last years campaign from the help of Sally Kipyego and Irene Kimaiyo, who were honored as All-Americans. Sophomore Gladys Kipsang also returns to the courses this season.

The women will start at 5 p.m. CT and the men will begin at 5:45 p.m. CT.
