Lady Raiders Start Season Ranked No. 12 Sept. 16, 2008
LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's cross country team was ranked #12 in the USTFCCCA national poll this week and ranked No. 2 in the Mountain Region. The No. 12 ranking is the highest preseason in program history. Three other Big 12 school Colorado (No. 23), Baylor (No. 24) and Nebraska (No. 30) are ranked in the poll. Tech is also ranked No. 2 in the Mountain Region behind Colorado State. Tech will be hosting the Red Raider Invitational this Friday at Meadowbrook golf course starting at 6 p.m
