LUBBOCK, Texas - The Division I regional rankings for men's and women's cross country squads were released today by the USTFCCCA and the Texas Tech women's team is ranked No. 4, while the men's side is ranked 11th.

The women previously ranked No. 5 in the preseason polls, while the men's squad dropped one spot from its preseason No. 10 ranking.

Texas Tech and Colorado were the only two teams to represent the Big 12 Conference in both the men's and women's rankings.

Texas Tech will host the 2007 Big 12 Cross Country Championships Oct. 26 at the Jerry S. Rawls Course.
