LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's cross country team moved up three spots to No. 9 in the USTFCCCA rankings after winning its first Big 12 Cross Country Championship.

Tech is the top ranked Mountain Region team and Big 12 team in this week's rankings. The Lady Raiders cruised to its first Big 12 title in program history behind Sally Kipyego, Lillian Badaru, Asia Diaz and Michelle Guzman earning all-conference honors.

Washington, Oregon and Florida State are the top three ranked teams on the women's side.

The No. 9 Lady Raiders run at the Mountain Regional Championship in Fort Collins, Colo., on Sat., Nov. 15th.
