Texas Tech Baseball Ranked No. 10 in Sporting News Collegiate Baseball Poll

Ginter, Bard selected as Preseason Second Team All America selections

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech baseball team was ranked 10th nationally in the The Sporting News college baseball poll released late Wednesday. Two Tech players- senior second baseman Keith Ginter and sophomore catcher Josh Bard were named to the Sporting News Preseason All America Second Team.

Texas Tech was one of three Big 12 Conference schools ranked in the poll. The other two were No. 8 Oklahoma State and No. 13 Oklahoma.
