Red Raiders Beat Horned Frogs - Again

FORTH WORTH, Texas - The Texas Tech baseball team doubled up Texas Christian Wednesday, beating the Horned Frogs 10-5 for the second-straight day.

Leadoff batter Keith Ginter led the way for the Red Raiders (27-4), going 4-for-6 with four RBI and two doubles. Designated hitter Jason Landreth also had a big day, going 3-for-3 with a runs scored and an RBI.

Texas Tech pitcher Jimmy Hooper got the win on the mound, pitching six innings of scoreless ball. He allowed three hits and stuck out six. Hooper came on in relief of Red Raiders starter Jeff Peck who lasted just an inning.
