Red Raiders Double Up Missouri
COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Texas Tech baseball team used a three-run fifth inning en route to a 4-2 victory Sunday over Missouri.
The Red Raiders recieved homeruns from Joe Dillon and Joe Bard. As a team the Texas Tech managed eight hits, compared to the Tigers' seven.
Monty Ward picked up the win for the Red Raiders, pitching seven and 1/3 innings while allowing one earned run on six hits. He struck out 12 batters while only walking one. Ward improved his record to 6-1.
The Red Raiders return home to take on New Mexico Tuesday at 5 p.m.
