Saw action in 35 games as a reserve outfielder and designated hitter...finished the year with a .270 batting average and tallied 35 hits, 12 doubles, two triples, one home run and 27 RBI...Had a big series against TCU as he made all three starts in the outfield...hit .625 (5-of-8) and picked up two doubles, one triple and his first career home run (Sunday game)...Was hitting just .236 prior to the series against the Frogs...Picked up the game winning RBI single in the bottom of the 10th inning against Oklahoma on April 25...gave the Red Raiders a 6-5 win and a 2-1 series win over the 13th-ranked Sooners...Had a season-high five RBI against New Mexico State on May 18 as he went 2-for-2 at the plate including a three-RBI triple.
