1999 at McLennan C.C.: Played for head coach Paul Miller ... hit .341 with eight doubles, a triple, three home runs, 35 RBI and 35 runs scored ... spent the fall of 1999 at McLennan before transferring to Texas Tech.

High School: Graduated from St. Thomas High School in 1998 ... played for Jim Connor ... received All-State honors as a junior and senior ... was also named Preseason All-Greater Houston.
