At The University of Nevada 2007: Did not play but completed his degree in Business Management. 2006: Returned after having Tommy John Surgery and appeared in 16 games all out of the bullpen...only decision was a victory in relief at home versus UC Davis(5/9)...did not allow an earned run in eight of his 16 appearanes...longest outing of the year was two innings of shutout, hitless relief at Stanford(2/21) when he retired all six hitters he faced which was his top outing of the year. 2005: Was forced to redshirt after having Tommy John Surgery his freshman year when he injured his arm on April 10 at LTU. 2004: Came to Nevada after an outstanding prep career as a catcher but the Pack coaches' decided to move him out from behind the plate to the mound and let him pitch... appeared in 16 games all out of the bullpen before having Tommy John Surgery...suffered the injury at Louisiana Tech on April 10...posted a pair of wins in his first season pitching 1.1 perfect innings vs. SJSU(3/30) as the Pack won 7-6 and in his next outing at Sacramento State(4/30) when he tosseda career high 3 innings but did not allow a run and just one hit...did not allow a run in 11 of his 16 appearances...career high 3 strikeouts occurred twice vs. Cal Poly(3/6) and vs. Pacific(3/23).
