LAST SEASON
Served mainly as a middle reliever during the 2005 season and finished with the most appearances (26) by any Tech pitcher...finished with a 6-1 overall record and had the best winning percentage of anyone on the staff...totaled a 4.05 ERA which was the second best ERA on the staff behind Tanner McElroy...logged 33 1/3 innings and allowed 15 earned runs on 36 hits...finished with 20 walks and 23 strikeouts and held opponents to a .277 batting average...his longest outings of the season were pair of games in which he went 2 2/3 innings against Northern Illinois on Feb. 11th and Northern Iowa on March 4th...his season-high strikeouts in a game was three and that was done in back-to-back outings against Western Illinois on Feb. 19th and Northern Iowa on March 4th...IN THE BIG 12...made 11 appearances in conference action and totaled an ERA of 4.97...logged 12 2/3 innings and finished with 11 walks and eight strikeouts...his best Big 12 outing came against Kansas State on April 15th when he held the Wildcats scoreless over 1 1/3 innings and struckout two.

AT ARKANSAS
Transferred to Arkansas after spending on season at Collin County Community College in Plano...was part of an SEC Championship team that advanced to the College World Series in Omaha...saw limited action as he pitched in nine games and logged 12 2/3 innings...went 1-1 with three saves and a 6.39 ERA...coached by former Nebraska Head Coach Dave Van Horn...AT COLLIN COUNTY...he was a First-Team All-Conference pick and also earned First-Team All-Region honors...Junior College All-American.

Played at Class 5A Rockwall High School (Dallas Area) under head coach Randy Talley...named the District MVP...set new school records in strikeouts, innings pitched and strikeout-to-walk ratio...pitched a no-hitter his senior year.
