LAST SEASON Earned First-Team All-Big 12 honors as an infielder from the league coaches and the Austin American Statesman...led the Red Raider offense with a .362 average while making 57 starts on the season...not a power hitter but was extremely proficient in moving runners into scoring position and finished with the second most RBI on the team (48 behind Cameron Blair's 60)...made a total of 24 starts at second base and 33 starts at third...finished with 80 total hits including 15 doubles and one triple...was the second hardest player on the team to strikeout as he finished the season with 20 k's...tallied an on-base percentage of .410 and was 15-for-17 in stolen bases...tied Cameron Blair for the most multiple-hit and multiple-RBI games as he finished with 24 and 14 respectively...longest hitting streak of the season was an eight-game stretch between Feb. 19 and March 4...had a career day against UC-Irvine on March 12 as he led the team with five hits (5-for-6) while adding four RBI to help lead the Red Raiders to a 14-10 win...although his four-RBI game against UC-Irvine was a season-high, he did finish with three games in which he added three RBI to the Tech offense...IN THE BIG 12...finished the conference season as the fourth best hitter in the Tech lineup with a .274 average...tallied 26 hits including six doubles and one triple...walked five times and struckout nine...finished with six multiple-hit and five multiple-RBI games...had a nine-game Big 12 hit streak that began on April 17 against Kansas State and ended on May 20 at Oklahoma...his top Big 12 outing was against Kansas State in Manhattan where he went 3-for-5 at the plate and contributed three RBI to help lead Tech to an 11-7 win.
