Made his first start at centerfield in the season opener against Howard 1/26...went 1-4 at the plate and scored three runs...went 2-4 against Houston with one RBI...went 2-2 at the plate with one RBI against WTAMU on Feb. 6 before leaving the game with a pulled hamstring...moved back into the starting line-up in the San Diego Baseball Classic...had a crucial RBI single in the game with Howard Payne on Feb. 20....had a big series against Texas with three hits and three RBI...snapped a season-high six-game hitting streak against Kansas State on March 18...hit his first home run of the season against Oklahoma State in the first game of a doubleheader on Sunday March 25...hit a three-run homer against Missouri on March 31st...hit .333 (4 of 12) against Iowa State with an RBI...snapped a five-game hitting streak against WTAMU on April 10th...went 3 for 3 against Texas A&M on April 14th to pace Tech to a 4-1 win over the Aggies...earned two RBI in the final game against Kansas to propel Tech to a 4-3 win over the Jayhawks...hit a two-run home run against Oklahoma in the first game of the Big 12 Tournament…was named to the NCAA Fullerton Regional All-Tournament team…finished the year with a batting average of .309, tallied 63 hits, 10 doubles, one triple, three home runs and 29 RBI
