Played his first season at Utah Valley State College in Orem, Utah before transferring to the Community College of Southern Nevada for the 2003 season...at CCSN he played under head coach Tim Chambers and was part of the 2003 Junior College World Series Championship team...finished the year with a 2.78 ERA and a 1-1 record through 22 innings of work...was awarded the Athletic-Academic Award for maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Played varsity football, basketball and baseball at Class 5A Orem High School in Orem, Utah...he was coached by his father Paul Clark, Matt Logan and Ross Reed...helped lead his baseball team to a state championship in 1997, his basketball team to a state runner-up finish in 1998 and his football team to a state runner-up finish in 1996...was an all-region selection in all three sports and all-state pick in baseball...served a two-year mission before enrolling at Utah Valley State.
Born on Oct. 25, 1979 in Provo, Utah to parents Paul and Emily Clark...father Paul is a teacher/coach and a graduate of BYU...has three older siblings Gina (29), Marilee (28) and Jon (27)...enjoys reading, cooking, golf, guitar playing and loves kids...currently majoring in communications with a minor in Spanish.
