Finished the 2002 season with a record of 0-0 through seven appearances and three innings of work…2002 RECAP…Pitched in two games of the BYU series but faced just one batter each time and retired both...struckout all three batters he faced in the ninth inning of Friday night’s game with Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.

AT TEXAS WESLEYAN
Was a first-team all-conference selection as freshman after going 8-2 with a 3.59 ERA….those eight wins set a freshman record for wins in a single season at Texas Wesleyan…his team defeated eventual national champion St. Mary’s University in the conference tournament…was an MBNA scholar and a member of Alpha Delta Lambda Honors Fraternity.

HIGH SCHOOL
Played baseball at Duncanville High School…coached by Bob Rombach and Marty Rogers….led his team to State in 1998, 1999, 2000…all three of those Duncanville teams were ranked in the Top 25 nationally…as a senior he went 5-1…was a member of National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society…VICA Sergeant at Arms…Student Council
