Got the starting nod in leftfield in the first game of the doubleheader against Howard replacing Jason Rainey who was still recovering from leg injury...saw some brief action at first base...went 1-3 at the plate with one RBI and two runs scored...earned back-to-back hits as a DH against Houston on Feb. 4...made three consecutive starts in leftfield against San Diego State, San Diego and Howard Payne...went 2 for 4 against Nebraska on March 2...tallied four hits against Nebraska on March 4 including three doubles...hit his first triple of the season against Texas on Sunday March 11...continued his hot hand in conference play against Oklahoma State as he went a combined 3 for 7 with a double, an RBI and a run scored (.429)...snapped a season-high nine game hitting streak after failing to get a hit in a single pinch hit appearance against Missouri on March 31st...hit the first home run of his career against Missouri on March 30th...knocked home a season-to-date high three RBI against WTAMU on April 10th...went 2 for 4 against TCU on April 11th...hit an impressive .500 (5 for 10) with four RBI against Texas A&M...hit an overwhelming .700 against Oklahoma April 20-22 with two home runs...both his home runs against the Sooners came in the very first at-bat...Cranford now has three first at-bat lead-off home runs this season...went into the TCU game hitting over .400...homered in his third straight game against TCU on April 24th (a three-run shot over left center field)....snapped an 11-game hitting streak by going 0 for 4 against Kansas on April 27th...hit an impressive .583 (7 of 12) with a two run home run and three RBI against the Baylor Bears in the weekend series...named First-Team All-Big 12 as the utility player…finished the season with a .387 batting average (best on the team), 70 hits, 15 doubles, two triples and seven home runs
